ok, i download the chronicles of riddick(NOT ATHENA,but Butcher Bay) and was unable to get the game to work. so after like forever, i was finally able to get this game working. i decided to help others out too though, so here are all of the files you should need to get it working. read the: "Read_me_or_you_will_look_like_a_fucking_idiot_when_the_install_doesn't_work.txt" so you don't look like a fucking idiot ;-) if the install still doesn't work, unlikely, you might need the U.S. patch(google); my version only comes with the E.U patch. i might not be seeding this forever, so if you need to have it reseeded, PM me on suprbay(TPB's official forum): http://suprbay.org/member.php?u=4769 enjoy :D

i'm glad some people finally commented on this torrent saying that it worked; i've had this torrent uploaded a month ago so at least now people can know its legit.

the patch should work with the version that's out there, and if it doesn't it's only a 20mb download anyway.
patch just gets stuck at 23%, i've tried reinstalling the game and downloading the patch of another site still nothing.. that and i grabbed myself a trojan from the actual game..
ok forget my last comment i got the game to run, my next problem though, is that when i run it, it flips my screen so that i have to play it upside down.. :S any suggestions?

Ok i've run into a problem, I followed the instructions and copied the files into the dir. but when i try to play it it says no cd inserted or something. please help?

ok, i downloaded the actual game, tried to run the UE patch, (from the torrent), but it gets stuck at 23%. i downloaded a US patch, but it gets to 8%, which is processing the license, but it says "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match" wtf do i do now?

if you guys applied the original patch, you have to uninstall the game and reinstall it. if so i remember the patch taking a long time on a piece of data and thought it was stuck too(might have been 23%) if it looks like it's stuck, let it run for a while(go outside and do something) and when you come back see if it's done.
i can't tell you guys exactly what your problem is but clearly it's on your end as you can see plenty of people who were having problems solved theirs. my advice is reinstall, follow the directions, and you should be able to play the game.

I got an error on the update "Missing or Invalid Registry/INI entry" I press okay and it starts to update, I get to 3 % and another error appears. It says "Old file does not exist" and then it closes down. I uninstalled and reinstalled and right after installation was complete i went directly for the update that was included in this torrent, still the same problem. Any idea what i should do?

I downloded the hoodelem ISO,Folowed the instructions,but says game has crashed do you want to create a crash log.

yes the game is compatible with the hoodlum release. if you previously patched with the hoodlum patch, you'll have to completely uninstall and reinstall WITHOUT the hoodlum patch.(instead use the patch provided here)

BTW...I am running Windows 7 64-Bit Build 7100 and it runs perfect. I didn't even have to touch compatibility settings.

Here goes: how do I perform the first step in the .txt? That is, how do I install the game in the first place to move on to the rest of the steps. I have Vuze, winrar, and all that great stuff, I just need to know how to perform step 1: installing.

Why the hell I cant install the game? When I click on the setup icon it does not do anything! I played the demo for this and it worked fine and I even set all video settings to max ( But i had to uninstall it via registry ) I suppose its not my pc; 2.3 Ghz Athlon 4400 X2, Radeon 3650, 2GB mems...I tried to install it on another pc (which is weaker than mine) and it worked...What do you think guys?

@bungangers: if it works on another PC, i have no idea why it won't work on yours. the fact that you got it to work on another PC clearly means that it's a problem on your end. it could be one of a million things.

HELP ive got a problem with the game menu. everytime i launch the game everithing goes fine until the menu comes. i can see the background and black cube but i cant see the options like new game and gredits and exit aso. why cant i see them??? when i move the mouse i can hear the sound that there is something but i cant see it. have someone had the same problem and what is the solution for that? by the way i have xp sp3, radeon 9550, 521 MB RAM, 2,8GHZ.

If you already have TCOR:EFBB Directors cut, or any other release .iso and you wish to install patch read this first:
For those who get "Old file does not exist" (while installing patch for game), or something like that... uninstall game, start installing it again, but this time, DON'T CHANGE THE TARGET GAME DIRECTORY, I repeat, DON'T CHANGE TARGET GAME DIRECTORY, leave it as it is (C:\Program Files\Starbreeze Studios\Riddick EFBB), than continue with the install... wait it to finish and follow the instructions, from the provided README text file, in torrent folder, and everything will work fine. Oh, and one more thing, if you're Win7 user when overwriting files from vitality.rar Win7 will ask, if you want to merge files, press Yes... for XP users you'll have to manually go inside all Win32_x86, _SSE, _SSE2 (located in .rar) folders and overwrite the SbzEngine files in every System Win32_x86 folders... oh and never forget #1 rule of game copy users, always BACKUP any .exe files, for the Riddick game, BACKUP System folder.
